La Mostra de Igualada is the reference market for the performing arts for all audiences in Catalonia. A great showcase of the best Catalan shows for children and young people, which brings together millions of spectators in the capital of Anoia, and which aims to nurture family programs throughout the country. Considered the Strategic Fair of Catalonia, La Mostra is organized by the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the City Council of Igualada.
The official program of La Mostra de Igualada – Fair for children and youth theater brings together more than sixty shows of all genres of the performing arts for all audiences: theater, dance, puppets, musical, magic, clown, workshops, etc. The shows of La Mostra are committed to quality, contemporary, novelty, innovation of language and staging, original creation and interest of the plot.
The selected shows – among the three hundred proposals submitted – are scheduled both in open spaces and abroad.
